Becoming a Gold Director requires your team to generate over $60,000 USD in sales in a 4 week period and earns you over $5,000 USD.
It is one of the major milestones for a successful MLM business and is something everyone wants to achieve.
Everyone Wants to be a Gold Director
The Gold Director rank is prestigious and puts you on track to achieve your MLM dream.
Gold Director is also the level where many distributors can quit their jobs and enjoy the benefits of working at home.
When I go to Conventions and events and I ask people what their goals are, almost everyone tells me they want to become a Gold Director.
I smile and nod to acknowledge their lofty goal but inside I'm asking myself, “do you really know the pain and suffering it takes to become Gold?”
If you want something that is rewarding, you must pay the price to get it!
And that is the NO BS NO HYPE truth to MLM success.
Andrew Gung Shares What It Takes to Become Gold
Andrew is the leader of Team Infinity that is full of young aspiring entrepreneurs.
By working together as a team and helping other members of Team Infinity grow their busineses, Andrew became a Gold Director.
So what does it take?
How many people do you need to sponsor?
How many leaders do you need to develop?
I interviewed Andrew recently and he shared with me his 4 week journey to Gold Director
7 Lessons from Andrew's Gold Director Run
As you listen to Andrew's interview, pay attention to the 7 valuable lessons that he shares.
1) Attend Events
Andrew and I first met in August of 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah when he attended his company's annual International Convention.
Even though Andrew was not earning a full time income yet, he realized the importance of attending events and surrounding himself with successful distributors.
Andrew is from Melbourne so the trip to the USA must have cost him at least $3,000.
But leaders know that $3,000 is pennies when it comes to investing in your “Million Dollar Business.”
2) Being Proactive
I still remember Andrew and I first met at the Red Rock Brewery in downtown Salt Lake City on the “Meet Simon” night.
That night, many distributors came but only a few, such as Andrew, were procative to approach me and ask me specific questions.
Many other distributors left early that night since there were many activities the next day, but Andrew and his team stayed late to learn from me.
3) Don't Let Your Personality Hold You Back
The biggest lie you can say to yourself is “that's the way I am.”
When you say that you are cheating yourself.
Because the reality is that you CAN CHANGE.
When you say you can't be successful because “you are not a good talker” or you are “shy” you are short changing yourself.
You can easily learn the skills to be a “good talker' or to be “more outgoing.”
If you are shy, that doesn't mean you must transform into the biggest socializer and become a social butterfly.
You just need to know when to be outgoing and when you can still be “shy.”
I know because I am shy and yet I can “turn it on” and be outgoing when I need to.
By the way, if you don't believe I am shy, I'm the type of guy that loves to go to restaurants and eats by himself or go to movie theatres and watch movies alone.
In this interview, you will learn how Andrew Gung was also shy and how he learned to get over it.
You will also hear how his transformation opened the eyes of his family of the benefits of MLM.
If you meet Andrew, he is still the more “quiet” type but that has not held him back from being the leader of this emerging team called Team Infinity.

4) Investing in Self Development
Andrew is one of my Advanced Diamond Mastermind members and not only does he invest in Coaching but also in books and audios.
In a short time, I've enjoyed watching grow as a leader as he leads more effective trainings to help Team Infinity.
Leaders like Andrew know that the combination of self development, events and surrounding yourself with positive successful people is the key to success in Network Marketing.
5) Taking Advantage of Momentum
All leaders are know the importance of Momentum.
Momentum is hard to obtain so once you have it, you want to maximize it as much as possible.
Momentum was created after Andrew and his team invested in a personal team training session with me during my recent trip to Melbourne.
Sometimes momentum can't be explained… it just happens.
But you have to be perceptive enough to recognize it and take advantage of it ASAP!

6) You Motivate Your Downlines by Leading by Example
Andrew shares an amazing story of how one of his “sleeping” distributors suddenly woke up and went for a rank advancement after he saw Andrew and his team grow.
I am often asked what is the best way to motivate downlines and the answer is “Lead by example”
Always do what you want your team member to do.
So if you want them to sponsor, then start sponsoring yourself!
As your team sees you produce and committed to the business, they will wake up and follow your footsteps
7) Embracing the Challenges
The NO BS NO HYPE truth is that if you want to be succesful, you must work the business so hard that you hate it.
You must be overwhelmed, overworked, stressed with problems and work the business to the point you are about to go crazy.
When you reach that stage, then congratulations!
Then you know you are “close” to success.
But leaders stay the course and embrace the challenges and don't quit.
Instead of giving reasons why things don't work or they can't do it, then go figure a solution to the problems.
And that's what makes their lessons so inspiring.
It's good to know that when things are tough for us, we're not the only ones that are going through the tough times.
Andrew and his top leader, Tiffany Leung, faced TREMENDOUS and “dangerous” challenge during their 4 week run.
