What’s Been Happening In My Life
I was kind of stuck on what to share this week…
I’ve recently been writing so much MLM training content for my new website that I found myself stuck and had writer’s block as to what to share in my weekly blog to you.
By the way, please comment below and let me know what you think of my new website and training posts.
Anyway…
So, maybe, I’ll just ramble and you can take a peek at what’s going on in my life.
It’s been a busy week.
How do you like my new website?
Due to feedback and popular demand, I’ll be writing more blog posts and also creating more training videos.
I’ve got a video shoot coming up and it’s going to be an interesting one. We plan to shoot a series of videos that will be available in both Chinese Mandarin and English.
The topics include how to prevent MLM distributors from quitting, MLM duplication strategies, prospecting tips, leadership activities, etc.
Subscribe to my Youtube channel so you can stay up to date with my latest MLM training videos.
Weekly Personal “Blog of Simon Chan”
I’m also writing more MLM Training posts.
I’ll be coming out with at least 3 MLM training blog posts each week…
But one thing you will definitely still get is my Wednesday (USA time) “Blog of Simon Chan” that will have more personal sharing.
You got that?
So throughout the week, I’ll be writing MLM Training posts, but once a week you will still get the “Blog of Simon Chan” that will be more personal and less technical.
In addition to the blog posts, I’ll also be sending more emails so that you get the latest updates.
So now you know what I mean when I say, “I’ve been busy with writing.”
In other words, there has been TONS of content creation!
My brain is a little drained now but it’s been fun, and creating content is my calling to have a “Positive Impact on as Many Lives as Possible.”
Ethan Update
It’s been almost 6 weeks already since Ethan broke his leg and he’s recovering fast.
Last week they put him in a smaller cast and the doctors said that he could walk around in his walking boot.
Before you know it, he wants to go up and down the stairs already!
We have another check up this Thursday, and if all goes well, maybe he can lose his cast. Friday will be his birthday, so that would be a great birthday gift for him…
AND for me!
The toughest part of having Ethan break his leg is helping him take a daily bath.
We have to make sure his cast doesn’t get wet, so I have to wrap up his leg with a:
1) Big plastic bag
2) Small plastic bag to seal the big plastic bag
3) Towel #1 around the bags
4) Towel #2 around Towel #1
5) Saran wrap everything
Call me paranoid, but I figure better safe than sorry.
The last thing I want to happen is for the cast to get wet and then it starts to itch. We’ve been lucky it hasn’t been too hot in Los Angeles.
Once I finish wrapping it up, then I put on my swim trunks and have to go into the tub and give him a bath. Ethan’s gotten pretty good at it and we can get everything done in 5 minutes now, but it’s tiring!
I do cherish the moment though because it is memorable. 🙂
Years from now I will smile as I remember this.
Heck, I’m smiling now as I’m sharing with you a personal moment with my son.
Brendan Gets His Own Room
My other son, Brendan, finally moved into his new room.
We converted our guest room, and now his room is next to Ethan’s. Unfortunately Brendan is NOT a good sleeper and wakes up all the time.
My favorite moments with Brendan are Wednesdays because that is Baby Gym time!
It just seems like yesterday that I took Ethan there when he was just 7 months old, and now it’s Brendan’s turn.
Ethan still goes to weekly gym classes but had to take a temporary break due to his broken leg.
It’s June Already
It’s June already. Time flies by so fast.
Are you happy with the way this year has gone for you?
Are they above expectations or below?
For me, this year has been a year of TREMENDOUS personal and business growth.
I can think back to when I was in Vancouver for the Christmas holidays, and that seemed like only 2 weeks ago, but so much has happened since then.
I’m not sure about you, but this has been a super year for me so far.
Tons of challenges and probably more problems than I have ever had, but the reason this has been one of my best years is because I’ve learned to deal with challenges better using my Experience Formula.
If you were to ask me what is the difference and what I’m doing better to get better results, I would say it is really BEING AWARE that I’m the source of my problems.
I’m only good enough to get to my present state, and in order for me to get better, I must change. I have to change my habits, beliefs and perspectives.
I’ve discovered that the answers to almost all our problems are right in front of us, but we are blinded to the solutions because we have the wrong perspective.
One of the things that I challenge myself with is to accept that I am wrong and the other perspective may be right.
I used to defend my actions and views and by doing so, I shut down new ideas and solutions.
Nowadays, I almost do the opposite.
I assume I am wrong and the other view is correct. Even if it is something I don’t like to do, I still do it because I know the solution may be in the thing that I’ve been avoiding all these years.
What About You?
So that’s my life and what I’ve been up to.
What about you?
What have you been up to and how has your year gone so far?
How do you think you can get better?
