Fear of rejection is REAL and it will make you procrastinate and destroy your business.
Today you're going to discover a few steps to help you overcome rejection in network marketing.
2 Quick Tips to Help You Overcome Rejection in Network Marketing
Here are a 2 simple tips to help you:
1 ) Visualizing Success
The first thing you must do before you reach out to anyone is to check your mindset
If you're already assuming people are going to say “No” then it's going to create fear and prevent you from even talking to that person
2 ) Change Your Goal!
This is one of the WORSE mistakes that distributors make
DO NOT make it a goal and intention to get a Customer nor Downline!
Yes!!!
I just said that!
The REAL and ONLY purpose of the Invite is to simply let the people on your contact list know “you are in business.”
When you simply let them know, and collect a decision
A proper Invite is NOT to convince everyone you know to join your business.
Such unrealistic expectations only lead to disappointment and also makes you annoying and too salesly to your contacts.
It makes you nervous, desperate and it turns off your prospects.
Fortunately this can be avoided.
The purpose of the Invite is not to sell to your contacts.
It's simply to LET THEM know what you're doing.
You're there to collect a decision and NOT to get a result.
Whether they join or not is not important!
10 Steps to the Network Marketing Rejection Killer
Shifting your mindset and your perspective is the secret to how to handle rejection in network marketing.
This is an excerpt from my best selling book, The Consistency Pill and you can apply these 10 steps to help you overcome rejection in MLM.
Step 1: They're Not Rejecting You
Under that they are NOT rejecting you.
They’re saying “No” to the message, not to you.
Step 2: Change Your Mindset About Who Loses
Shift your your perspective on who loses when someone is not interested.
Your prospect loses out. Not you.
They’re the ones that missed out on something life changing.
Step 3: Change Your Self Talk
Change your self-talk to “You don’t need them, but they need you!”
They only have one and only you to help them because you are unique but you have millions of other people to talk to.
Step 4: They are NOT Doing You a Favor
Most salespeople get it wrong and have it the other way around.
They think the prospect is doing them a favor when they watch a sales presentation.
YOU are the one who is doing them a favor because you're sharing something that is life changing.
Step 5: Visualize Success Before You Reach Out
If you visualize failure, you’ll immediately get scared and flooded with the fear of rejection in network marketing.
Always assume people will want to buy
Visualize success and that people want to buy!
Step 6: Talk to As Many People As Possible
Go for high numbers and talking to as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time.
The more people you talk to, the less you’ll think about the ones that said “No”
Step 7: You Get Paid for Every “No”
Shift your mindset and realize that you get paid for every “No” you get.
It’s a numbers game. Every “No” gets you closer to a “Yes”
Step 8: Track Your Numbers
You must track the number of people you reach out to because network marketing prospecting is a numbers game but you won’t know how close you are to your next sale if you’re not tracking.
Step 9: Meet New Contacts All The Time
You will naturally fear network marketing rejection if you have limited number of people to talk to because you'll be afraid of running out of prospects.
The way to overcome this is to consistently add new people to your network everyday.
That's why meeting new people is one of the daily income producing activities.
New people makes you focused on sending the invite script to new people instead of constantly thinking about the ones that said “No” to you.
Step 10: Play the 10% Game
Here's a scary game but effective.
Go ask for 10% off the next time you buy something.
It’ll be scary but build up your tolerance for rejection.

When they say “No”, they're not rejecting you.
