Your Daily Actions Determine Your Future

For those in the USA, Happy Independence Day! As we celebrate our country’s birthday, we should be grateful for what we have.

If you have a bad habit of reading and watching the news, you will find that it is loaded with negativity and that is dangerous. It is bad because it makes it easy to blame others and not accept responsibility.

It is easy to blame the economy.

You can blame the bad politicians.

You can blame the housing market.

You can blame your company.

Blah blah blah!

Anyone Can Be Successful Today!

The reality is…it does not matter what country you live in but today we are STILL living in the best time in the history of mankind.

Anyone can be successful today but we must take responsibility and ownership! We are not born entitled to anything but we can have everything we want if we are willing to WORK for it.

It will take HARD WORK AND DISCIPLINE but anyone can be successful.

Thanks to the internet and technology, a poor kid in India can get a job servicing American businesses.

On the other hand, an American kid in rural Texas can use the internet to sell products in Germany that no one in his small town would buy.

But it will require sacrifices and work.

There are NO Excuses!

I find it interesting that the people that complain the most and are “victims” of the economy are the ones that do the least. They say they want to do well but they are the same people that decay their minds by watching over 3 hours of TV a day. All talk no action.

On the other hand, the people who take ownership of their lives and work hard on THEMSELVES everyday through self development, taking courses, etc are getting more and more successful each day.

We Live in a Special Time

We live in the most exciting time. Whatever you want to learn, you can find online. The other day I needed to learn how to use advance video editing features on Final Cut Pro X and I was able to find helpful video tutorials on Youtube. 10 years ago, I would have to invest at least $30 on a manual or spend even more money to enroll in a video editing course. But today, all it takes is a few clicks and the info is there.

If you are unemployed and need to learn something new so that you make yourself more attractive to job recruiters, then GO DO SOMETHING TODAY! Go learn something and make yourself better. Throw away all the distractions and work on yourself so that you can get better! The entire universe of knowledge is out there for you to learn. But YOU must take responsibility of your current situation and do something about it!

If you have a network marketing business, this is the ONLY time in history where you can share your company’s business and products to this many people. You are no longer limited by geography and can use social media, webinars, online advertising, Skype, etc. to market your business and support your teams.

We live a world where YOU can create your future.

The Only Thing You Can Control

You can’t control the economy, the negative people around you nor the distractions.

But the one thing you CAN control is the most powerful weapon you have.

You get to control your DAILY ACTIONS.

And it is your DAILY ACTIONS that will create your future tomorrow.

John Rich (American country music singer-songwriter) and winner of the Celebrity Apprentice shared with me how he got started and made it big. By the way, John is the ONLY artist to ever have a #1 hit single as a band member, duo and solo artist.

Before he became famous, John grew up in a poor family. He did

not have much education and no one would give him a chance in the music industry.

But what John did have was focus and desire. John shared with me that he could not control the music industry, economy, etc but he COULD control his daily actions. And his daily routine was… everyday he would sit with his guitar, a piece of paper and pencil and just write music. Day in and day out, that is all he did and all he could control. After writing over 500 songs that led to nowhere, FINALLY someone picked up one of his songs and it became a hit.

Here is a side note; the pool in the video is the actual pool that sits on the roof of his mansion!!!

Take Charge Today

So what are your daily actions that you need to do everyday?

If you are in network marketing and MLM, this is what you need to do:

5 Core Production Activities in MLM

1) Marketing – find new people to build a relationship with
2) Prospecting – share your opportunity with new people you have cultivated a relationship already
3) Followup – get in touch with old prospects that you have shared already
4) Self Development – study to get better
5) Talk to your Team

Realize, that every thing you do will have a positive or negative affect on your future.

Go watch TV or waste time randomly surfing the internet, and you take a few steps back from the future you want.

Go do the 5 Core Production Activities and even though you may not see the results today, you have made your dream more of a reality.

For every song that John Rich wrote, he took 1 small step towards the future he wanted as a famous singer. John had over 500 rejections before he became big.

How many rejections will it take you to become successful?!
