MLM Leads or the term, Network Marketing Leads simply means people and you must need a constant supply of new multi level marketing leads if you want to be successful in direct sales.
We are in the people business so everyone is a MLM Lead.
Adding new people to your list is super important and one of your daily income producing activities.
Most distributor fail in network marketing because they never expand their contact list and run out of people to send the invitation message to.
They talk to the same people over and over again even though it's proven that 95% of people WILL NOT buy nor join in the first exposure.
Your prospects eventually will buy, join or give you a referral but it requires network marketing follow up and it may be weeks or even years before they do.

You must generate MLM leads everyday and that's why expanding your contact list is one of the most important income producing activities you must do everyday.
One of my mentors, Robert G. Allen taught me in 2004 that:
“Your network determines your net worth”
I never forgot that so that's why I'm always focused on generating new leads everyday.
Don't Prejudge Your Current MLM Leads List
Before we talk about getting new network marketing leads, let's talk about your current list of people you know first.
One of the biggest mistakes people make in direct selling is they prejudge the people they know.
When they make their names list, they only think about who they think will be interested!
The fact is you never know who will be interested.
5 Reasons Why You Must FIRST Talk to Everyone You Know
1 ) You Never Really Know Who Would Be Interested
Don't just people from the outside.
If you ask someone “How are you doing?”
Most people will say “Fine”
but deep down they may struggle and really need what your business can offer.
Example of Someone That Could Be Interested
You may have a friend that is a successful businessman or doctor that earns over $300,000 a year and you may not think they would be interested in network marketing because on the outside everything looks great.
But maybe they're struggling with debt or just frustrated with the lack of time in their lives?
Don't Prejudge People on Social Media
The same applies for your friends or potential MLM Leads you get on social media.
Their profiles may look like they don't need what you have but in reality their life is a mess.
Another example is someone who doesn't have much of a profile and you think they wouldn't be your ideal prospect but the reality is they don't spend much time on social media.
2 ) Your Job is to Let Everyone Know
If you had opened any other type of business, for i.e., a sushi restaurant, you would let everyone know about it even for those that don't like Japanese food!
You would not prejudge them because even if they're not hungry or don't like your type of restaurant, they could tell their friends about it.
3 ) The Goal is to Collect a Decision from MLM Leads
Don't prejudge your current contact list or any new multi level marketing leads you get.
Instead your goal is to send out the invitation message and collect a decision.
It's not to convince MLM Leads but to simply collect a decision.
Do NOT make the decision for them!
4 ) You Will Get Referrals and NEW MLM Leads
One of the easiest ways to generate free MLM leads is to ask for referrals.
Even if your current list of network marketing leads is not interested, you can always ask them if they know anyone.
There are different follow up script you can use but here's one:
I know you're not interested but would you know anyone that wants to earn an extra $500 to $1,000 a month without interfering with what they're currently doing?
Great Rule for Finding Great MLM Leads
“Every prospect is not the destination but the doorway to the destination.”
The person that's not interested will lead you to your next superstar and you never know who they know.
If you sponsor a MLM lead into your business, the best way to train a new downline is to get them to send out the invitation script ASAP.
5 ) You Will Be Pleasantly Surprised
If you reach out to every single person or MLM lead in your network, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Most people you think will be interested will not be interested but the ones you least expect will be interested and join!
That's why you never prejudge your MLM leads.
Every Warm Market Was Once a Cold Market
Before we talk about meeting new network marketing leads, I want to address a common misconception with cold market and warm market prospecting.
The term “cold market” means someone that you don't know such as a stranger standing in line at a grocery store, a restaurant server or stranger on Facebook.
A “warm market” is someone you know such as a friend, a former classmate or a colleague at work.
Wrong Attitude Towards Cold Market MLM Leads
Some distributors feel that they're not good with cold markets and not good with meeting strangers but the reality is everyone that you know was once cold market!
Everyone is good at cold market prospecting!
Your best friend was once a cold market stranger!
Your spouse was also once a cold market stranger!
So the truth is you can be good at meeting cold market MLM leads.
On another note, warm market friends can also turn into cold market strangers if you're not consistent with your follow up schedule.

My favorite and easiest way to get new network marketing leads is to use the CLAM Formula on social media.

You can post content that gets people curious and then use versions of the CLAM Formula to get free network marketing leads

Use Stories to Generate MLM Leads for Your Product
You also occasionally post stories on Instagram and Facebook that show you using your company product.
Afterwards you go back to reach out to everyone who has watched your stories to see if they would be interested to learn about what they're using.
You can simply say,
“I've noticed you looked at my Story on me drinking my shake. Would you be interested to learn more?”
Generate MLM Leads Offline
Network marketing leads are everywhere and easy to get if you provide value
Places Where You Can Meet New Network Marketing Leads
– Join a club for your favorite hobby
– Attend investment and personal finance seminars
– Attend a local class on cooking
– Get involved in a volunteer project
– Join a regularly scheduled fitness class (for i.e. yoga, aerobics, zumba)
– Take an evening course at a community college
– Go to a party and have some fun
– Go to a meetup in your local area
Those are just some ideas to get you started.
Wrong Offline Way to Approach MLM Leads
The wrong way to do it is to try and convince and sell everyone you meet.
The right way is to aim to be a real friend and a person of value
Aim to Be a “Real Friend”
When you meet people at these offline events initially they are just surface level relationships.
You need to build some trust before people will listen to what you have to offer.
The best advice I can give you is be GENUINELY INTERESTED in people and that means to care and listen to these network marketing leads.
If you are nervous and not sure when to bring up your business, here is a helpful tip.
Always talk to people as if you were NEVER in MLM.
If you didn't have anything to sell or offer how would you treat people?
Just treat people like the way they want to be treated and always find ways to provide value.
When you stop focusing on yourself, you will be more natural and LESS nervous. 🙂
I always find that people get nervous talking to others when they are thinking about themselves and their MLM business.
But once they stop thinking about how to bring something up, they become more natural and a person that people want to be around.
3 Ways to Provide Value So People Want to Meet You
This is the same way as creating value with your posts on social media except you do it in person.
Value can be simply making someone happier, making them laugh or helping them out in a certain situation.
For strangers and potential MLM leads you can:
1 ) Teach Them Something
Share something that you know that could be helpful to them.
For i.e. if someone at the grocery store isn't sure what type of oat milk to buy, you can share your experience.
Another example, is a parent isn't sure what baseball bat to purchase, you can share from your experiences.
2 ) Connect Them with Someone
Perhaps you can't help them but you may know someone that can.
For i.e .if someone has some plumbing issues, you can refer your friend to your friend who is a plumber.
3 ) Entertain Them
Make them laugh or share something that makes them happy.
Sometimes a simple smile and “Hello” is good enough.
Paid Ways to Get More MLM Leads
Here are 3 ways to generate MLM leads but they cost money
I do NOT recommend any of them.
All 3 of these methods take tremendous amounts of time and an advertising budget of a minimum of $500 a month to work.
You might as well spend your time to use the CLAM Formula instead.
1 ) Create a Website and Funnel
This takes time, technical expertise and will require testing and a huge advertising budget.
There are half dozen more reasons why I don't recommend creating a funnel to generate network marketing leads.
2 ) Do Online Ads (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
You can create ads and advertise but these are super difficult.
Most social media platforms do not allow network marketing advertising and you have to create good content to make this work and if that's the case, you might as well use the free CLAM Formula way instead and save your money.
Many of the reasons is the same reason why I don't recommend building online funnels.
3 ) Purchase Leads
Buying MLM Leads is a Mistake!
I'm strongly against buying leads because the success rate is low once you know how leads are generated.
It also takes a strong network marketing recruiting skills to be able to convert leads and most distributors don't have the closing skills and end up just wasting money.
You might as well spend your time and learn how to generate MLM Leads for free instead.
