Howard was not an instant success and it took him awhile to reach this new milestone but he will be super successful in whatever he chooses to do.

1) Journey to Success
Top distributors acknowledge that success is not a destination but a journey and as long as you keep going, you will accomplish your goals.
Failures on the journey doesn’t make you a failure. They simply are temporary roadblocks that you learn from and as you learn the lesson, they allow you to outmaneuver similar obstacles in the future.
Howard’s journey to Silver was not easy. It took him 3 attempts and 12 months before he finally made it! The amount of failed attempts is not important but what matters is that Howard kept going and learned from his mistakes.
Reaching the milestone is not the achievement that matters. It’s the person you become from the lessons you learn. Howard is a 10 times better leader because of the journey he had to go through than if his success had come easier for him.
2) Success is Not Easy
The road to success is filled with challenges. But that is why the business is rewarding.
If success was easy then it would not be financially rewarding.
Come to think of it, anything that comes easy is not worth much. Being able to breathe oxygen is free and thus it is worthless. It’s easy to get on welfare and that’s why you don’t get paid much. Top leaders and entrepreneurs embrace the challenges because it’s the ability to successfully figure out the puzzle that rewards you the millions.
I always emphasize to my Mastermind members that you must hate the business you are in. If you haven’t been miserable in your MLM and hated the business, that just means you haven’t worked hard enough and failed enough in your journey!
The good news is when you have worked so hard and failed so many times and want to quit, that’s when you are almost there.
The temptation to quit is greatest when success is right around the corner.
3) Winners Never Criticize, Complain nor Condemn Top leaders never criticize, complain nor condemn.
Is it just “positive attitude” or is there a specific reason? When you criticize, complain or condemn, you put yourself at a disadvantage because it means you are powerless to change your situation. Instead, wise leaders like Howard know that each one of us have the power to change our situation and become better.
By accepting responsibility for their own mistakes and failures, top income earners are able to learn the valuable lesson and make adjustments so that they will get a more favorable outcome next time.
So make sure you never criticize, complain nor condemn because when you do so, you blind yourself from the valuable lessons from your mistakes and you never get better.
4) Ask How and Not Explain Why
Smart entrepreneurs don’t waste time to explain why something doesn’t work.
Instead, leaders like Howard constantly ask themselves “How can I make it work?”
The simple task of committing your mental energy to ask yourself “How can I make this work?” instead of thinking and giving excuses to “Why it didn’t work” puts you into creative and solution oriented thinking.
Sadly most distributors are blind to the solutions to their problems because they spend too much time giving excuses or reasons why things don’t work out instead of activating their creative mind.
5) Being Creative
Leaders wisely use their mental energy to search for creative solutions to their challenges.
Howard had experienced tremendous setbacks and frustrations in his MLM journey.

entire group of his downlines quit right before he was about to start his rank advancement run!
But instead of complaining Howard got creative and went out and sponsored 7 people in 7 days.

Regardless of whether things are going well or bad, Howard is consistent with is business.
If you go to his Facebook profile and website, his message is always consistent. He doesn’t just do the business when “he feels like it” or when things are going well. Rain or shine, Howard is building his million dollar business everyday.
That type of consistency gets people curious about his business and turns even the most skeptical people into prospects.
3) Lead By Example Leaders lead by example.
They don’t rely on their downlines to produce. Instead they are out there everyday prospect and building their businesses.
There were countless of times that Howard could have blamed his downlines that quit. But that would be a loser’s mentality. He would be criticizing and complaining.
Howard simply went out and sponsored and found better people.
