Online Recruiting Tip on What to Say in Your First Message to People

online recruiting message

Here is an online recruiting tip that’ll help you connect with strangers on social media for your network marketing business.

Approaching people for the first time can be challenging especially if you never been taught the proper way.

When someone gets a message from you, whether it’s a text message of a message from Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, LinkedIn, etc…

The first objection to your online recruiting message is:

“Who the heck are you?”

The second objection is

“Why are you reaching out to me?”

and the third objection is

“What do you want?”

It’s important to address these 3 objections to your online recruiting message because otherwise the prospect will just ignore you.

Watch the video to learn how to connect better or read more below

3 Immediate Objections to your Online Recruiting Message

1 ) Do I Know You?

You need to consider how your prospect will be feeling when receiving your message.

Put yourself in their shoes – imagine a stranger messaged you, what would your first reaction be?

You would most likely want to know who they are and if you know them.

Therefore, it is important to answer the question, “Do I know you?”.

Make sure to establish some commonality and let them know why you’re reaching out to them. (for i.e. you have similar interests, have mutual friends, in the same Facebook group, etc.

2) Why Are You Reaching Out To Me?

Your prospects are also wondering why you are reaching out to them.

They will want to know who you are, what the message is about, and why you are contacting them.

Addressing their concerns in your initial message will make online recruiting a lot easier and more natural.

3) What Do You Want?

The final thing you want to address is what you want from your prospects.

Be clear and specific, without sounding too pushy.

For this, you can always consider sharing something in common with your prospect. I

t could be anything, like being part of the same Facebook group or having a mutual love for bulldogs, for example.

Online Recruiting Template for Your First Message

One of the best ways to address the three objections is to use a proven template.

This template includes using commonalities and mentioning something specific about the prospect.

In this way, you show the prospect that you are a real person and not just a salesperson or spammer.

Here’s a online recruiting template for your first message

— Share Something in Common

— Ask them a Question

— Keep it Super Short

Here’s an example of an initial message

“Hey, you don’t know me, but we belong to the same Facebook group. I love your post about your bulldog. I have one too. How old is yours?”

How to Transition into Business

Here’s a simple network marketing script to transition to asking people if they want to take a look at your business

Simply use the Magic Script
