How to Defeat Procrastination
The major reason for procrastination is because of your fear of rejection.
I’m going to talk about that later but first…
If you want to be proactive and take action
You must put yourself in the ENVIRONMENT that motivates you
That’s why it’s important to attend events
and spend as much time with people who are successful.
Accountability is also very important.
Just remember that…
Where you’ll be in 5 years is determined by:
1 ) Your personal development (what you feed your mind)
2 ) The people you meet
3 ) The places you travel to
Now… let’s talk the root cause of procrastination …
which is your FEAR of REJECTION
How to Defeat Feeling of Rejection
Here are a few simple tips to help you:
1 ) Visualizing Success
The first thing you must do before you reach out to anyone is to check your mindset
If you’re already assuming people are going to say “No” then it’s going to create fear and prevent you from even talking to that person
2 ) Change Your Goal!
This is one of the WORSE mistakes that people do.
DO NOT make it a goal and intention to get a Customer nor Downline!
Yes!!!
I just said that!
The REAL and ONLY purpose of the Invite is to simply let the people on your contact list know “you are in business.”
When you simply let them know, some will eventually buy or join.
A proper Invite is NOT to convince everyone you know to join your business.
Such unrealistic expectations only lead to disappointment and also makes you annoying and too salesly to your contacts.
It makes you nervous, desperate and it turns off your prospects.
Fortunately this can be avoided.
The purpose of the Invite is not to sell to your contacts.
It’s simply to LET THEM know what you’re doing.
You’re there to collect a decision and NOT to get a result.
Whether they join or not is not important!
Here is a short video that will be helpful:
Another reminder…
When they say “No”, they’re not rejecting you.
They’re simply saying “No” to what you have to offer.
