Network Marketing Training: What Objections Are and Why We Must Help Our Prospects Overcome Them

Objections Are a Result of Lack of Education or Previous Bad Experiences

The Only Reason Your Business Will Last

The ONLY reason a business lasts is BECAUSE it makes people’s lives better.

Let me repeat that…

Whether it is Apple, Toyota, Google, etc, the only reason a business lasts is because it makes people’s lives better.

And that applies to your Network Marketing business as well.

You MUST help make people’s lives better.

A lot of your success in overcoming Objections goes to how strong your 4 Beliefs are in the

1) Industry

2) Company

3) Products

4) Yourself

You must have a strong belief that your business helps make the lives of the people around you better.

So never forget…

We are in the profession to help others so we must make a Positive Impact on someone’s life today!

What Are Objections?

Our prospects’ objections are temporary mental blocks that stops someone from doing something that’ll be beneficial to them.

Objections happen due to current lack of education, or a previous bad experience.

Example of Objection Due to Lack of Education

Here is an example of what Objections are…

It is like talking to a kid who refuses to do his math homework.

Why does the kid not want to do his math homework? It’s because he has a mental block that prevents him from doing something helpful to him.

The reason why he has that is because of a lack of education.

Because the kid doesn’t know that doing math will help him and that’s why he doesn’t do it.

But I’m sure you would agree that we must help this kid and convince him to do his homework for HIS OWN GOOD!

And it is the same with our MLM prospects.

Often our prospects don’t know how our products and business can help them. That’s why they have these objections.

And just like how we must help the kid overcome his objection to doing homework, we must help our prospects overcome the objections that is preventing him from making his life better!

Example of Objection Due to Previous Bad Experience

The second reason why prospects have objections is because they had a previous bad experience before,

For example, let’s take a look at their “No Money” Objection.

They said they have no money because they had a bad experience before and they don’t want to get burned again.

So when that happens, we need to find out what was their bad experience about. What happened? Show them that this time it’s different.

Here are 2 more examples of everyday life objections that come up because of a previous bad experience

Examples of Objections Because of Bad Previous Experiences

Kids who don’t want to go to school because it’s boring.

That doesn’t mean EVERY school is always boring.

School isn’t always boring. There are some teachers at some excellent schools that are very interesting and make learning fun.

For their own good, we must do our best to convince these kids that school can be interesting and they need to go to school.

Adults who don’t like to eat vegetables because they don’t like the taste.

Just because vegetables don’t taste good doesn’t mean you should never eat vegetables again. It could just be that restaurant, or it could be the chef was bad and didn’t know how to prepare it.

To help them live healthier lives, we must do our best to convince these people that vegetables can taste good and should be part of a diet.

And the same applies to our MLM prospects.

Just because you had one bad experience with Network Marketing doesn’t mean that your opportunity will be bad.

Learning about their past experience and getting them to see that this time is different is one of the ways you handle the MLM Objection and/or Pyramid Objection.

Objections are Temporary Mental Blocks

So objections are just temporary mental blocks that prevents our prospects from doing something that would be beneficial to them.

Just temporary mental blocks.

I think every one of us, we can think of something back in life when there was something we should have done but we did not do, right?

Maybe you should have been eating healthier, but you did not.

Or you should have been reading but you did not.

Or you should have studied harder in school, but you did not.

And the same with our prospects.

They have this mental block or objection, and they give themselves excuses.

Once you understand that Objections are because of lack of education or a previous bad experience, we can go out and educate or show them that this time it is different.

If you want to learn how to handle over 50 specific Objections, you can check out THE S.O.W. SPONSORING SYSTEM.
