It is nice to be back home! I was on a 3 week trip to Asia where I was in 12 cities in 21 days. It was a super super super productive trip and one of the best ever… but it is so nice to be home. The first thing I enjoyed the moment I stepped outside the plane was the “fresh air” from Los Angeles. Yes… I thought the air in Los Angeles was “fresh”. That tells you how polluted Asia is!
It was really good to see Kelly and Obi. I missed them so much. Fortunately Kelly’s’ parents were here in Los Angeles to help out. Obi has been so spoiled with love and attention. (btw, he is sitting on my lap as I type this). Kelly’s parents both love Obi. Even Kelly’s dad (who normally does not like dogs) LOVES Obi and would play with him. He even gave Obi a kiss when they left back for Vancouver!
Kelly and I are doing super as well. We’ve been reading and going over “The Love Dare” together each day and that has been great for our marriage. I highly recommend that book. Even when I was in Asia, we would make “an appointment” to talk each day to go over the Love Dare so that we could nurture and continue to grow our marriage. That was awesome and is paying huge dividends!
Here are the highlights and memories of my trip. It’s good to be home but at the same time, I miss my team in Asia!

Books currently reading:
1) “Love Dare” by Stephen Kendrick
2) Sun Tzu for Execution by Steven Michaelson
I have also started to read and study on nutrition every day.
Asides from that… just enjoying the Cali sun and weather and catching up with things. I’ll be home for awhile and getting knee surgery to repair my torn meniscus on Mar. 1. I’m looking forward to a speedy recovery so that I can play hoops again and run the NYC marathon!
Until next time,
God Bless
Simon
