It’s been a busy but exciting week.
Ethan Can Walk Now!
The highlight of the week was that Ethan learned how to walk!
We were fortunate to be home when he took his first steps and got it on camera!
Of all the different video, this is his longest walk so far, and it was recorded when I was with him in his Tuesday afternoon gym class.
My Favorite Day
Tuesday is my favorite day… ‘cause that is when I get to take Ethan to the gym! It is awesome bonding time, and I enjoy the whole experience of putting him in the car, talking to him while driving and then spending the entire time with him in class.
Initially baby gym class was weird ‘cause I’m the only guy there! The rest of the class are all moms because the dads are all at work. The moms must think, “Does this guy ever work?” But I just smile and express gratitude for what a network marketing home business has done for me. The benefits of MLM are not just about money because money is not everything in life. But money makes many things happen, and it allows me to take Ethan to the gym every week.
It’s All About Cars
After class, I take him to the intersection of a busy street so that Ethan can see cars, trucks and buses! Ethan can say about 15 words now, but his favorite words are “車車,”(which means car in Chinese) and “巴巴,” (bus in Chinese). It’s actually supposed to be 巴士, but he calls it “巴巴.”
His favorite book is his car book, and his favorite car is the huge bus. Every time he opens up his book, he flips directly to the page with the big blue bus!
So after class, we go to the bus stop, and as he watches buses go by, he smiles and laughs….
His smile is priceless, and just being able to spend those moments with him makes all the hard work I put into my global MLM business worth it.
Ethan’s smile is what motivates me… I guess the old saying is right. After you have kids it is all about the kids, and I’m glad that I took action and worked hard in my network marketing home business a few years back.
Who Do You Work Hard For?
Stop thinking about yourself today and instead start thinking about your kids.
Ask yourself these questions:
1) Is what you are doing today creating a better future for them?
2) If you don’t have kids yet, then are you doing your best to create the best environment for them when you do have kids?
3) If you plan to spend time raising your kids, then ask yourself this. Are you simply working for yourself and for “money,” or do you have a better cause?
4) If you are in a MLM home business already, are you really treating it like a Million Dollar Business and investing the time and effort it deserves?
And most importantly…
5) If you keep doing what you are doing now, will you be able to spend precious moments with your child or will you be stuck at a job all day?
Make every second and every moment count!
Sincerely,
Simon Chan

Hi Simon,
Did watch the video earlier on Ethan. The above youtube took so long to load. Yes babies can be so adorable and innocent. They are so easy to be loved. I have met one who is 1 year and 2 months about Ethan age earlier, he was pushing me away when I played with his hair as he just cut it lol. Later he was riding the train, he smiled and laughed when I teased him at the side. Just before he left he waved bye-bye and give me a goodbye kiss. So so adorable 🙂

I so relate to this blog entry. I work for my 16 month old who took her first steps in June. The immeasurable joy and love from my daughter has made me do things that I never thought I would do. Congratulations to you!
