Today's question is from a Mastermind member from Australia and is a situation where the downline is frustrated due to the lack of communication.
Leaders Must Be Communicators and Teachers
Hey Simon, I've got a question.
Sometimes I feel that my upline may did something that I don't quite understand and when I confronted my upline, my upline said that I did not trust him/her.
One example to illustrate this is that my downline told me my upline did not close his prospect when the prospect showed very positive respond and is also very keen to do the business. In addition, my upline did not attempt to close at all. When I confronted my upline like this:
Me: how was the appointment?
Upline: It was ok.
Me: sign up?
Me: John told me to ask you why didn't you close?
After this, my upline said that I show no trust to him/her because I should have known the reason behind my upline's action. My true intention is know WHY my upline did that so I can analyze the situation.
How would you communicate more effectively in this scenario?
