Fundamental Skill #2: Marketing
In order to be really successful in network marketing you have to master the 5 Fundamental Skills.
1) Mindset
2) Marketing
3) No Hype Selling
4) Leadership
5) New Market Expansion
Today we will talk about the importance of Marketing.
What Does Marketing Skills Mean?
By marketing skills, it means you have to be constantly creating new relationships and add to your database of contacts.
It Means you NEVER RUN OUT OF PEOPLE to talk to!
This is very important and is why building new relationships daily is one of the 5 Core Daily Production Activities.
Whether you are meeting people offline or online, you have to make your business attractive to outsiders and to the people that know you.
To maximize your network marketing business, you have to learn how to grow your business BOTH in your warm markets (people that you know) and cold markets (strangers).
It is HYBRID MARKETING (combining warm markets, offline marketing and internet marketing) that will help you grow the fastest in network marketing.
The 1 rule to remember when you go and meet new people is:
People buy you and YOUR BRAND.
You are your own brand.

7 Marketing Questions for You to Think About
I know you are motivated and want to be successful or else you would not be reading this training post.
I have a few questions to ask you and I want you to think of your answers and what you need to do.
1) Do you have a network marketing business card?
If not, would anyone treat your business seriously?
2) Do you use your network marketing website?
Can anyone take you seriously if you do not have a website?
Would you seriously consider a business if that business did not have an online presence?
3) Do you have network marketing products displayed in your house?
If you have a competing product that network marketing makes, how impressed would your friends be about network marketing when they come over?
Just to let you know about my house… if you go to my house, you will NEVER find another brand of a product that competes against my company’s products.
If my network marketing business makes that product, then I only buy from my company.
Does that make sense? If you sell Chevys, would you drive a Toyota?
4) Do you have a professional social media presence?
If someone goes to your Facebook site or looks at what your tweet, would they be more impressed about network marketing or less impressed?
5) Do you use internet marketing strategies to find motivated prospects?
Whether it is social media, blogging, banner advertising, etc. do you have any strategies that you are implementing or plan to implement?
6) Do you use offline advertising to find motivated prospects?
You may have to reach a certain rank in order to do company specific advertising but even if you are new and can’t use network marketing in ads, you can still to be successful.
Recently I just met a full time network marketer who is a Gold Director who built a successful business solely from generic non branded advertising in her area!
Those are just some marketing skills and ideas for you to think about.
