USANA legal department

Being Grateful to USANA’s Compliance Department

If you are like most of the millions of distributors that join network marketing, you wanted to be your own boss.

You want to have your OWN business.

You want ownership and the benefits of working for yourself without the hassles and risks of a traditional business.

The beauty of network marketing is that it gives us the benefits without many of the risks because we get plugged into a proven system.

Network Marketing companies like USANA, provide us a system and makes it easy for us.

USANA makes the products, the sales materials, they do the shipping, etc. and they even handle the customer service!

They do everything and it is our “business in a box.”

Your Most Valuable Partner

The most valuable partner in your MLM business is often overlooked though.

And that is the Compliance Department.

You may have heard the term that everyone needs a good lawyer and USANA’s Compliance Department is basically our lawyer that protects us.

They shield us against the everyday threats that lurk around in the business world.

Compliance Department is Serves and Protects Us

I’ve learned a few things (both bad and good) in my 10 plus years in the MLM profession.

I can say that as you grow and learn, your perception on many things change.

Sometimes things don’t make sense when you first start out but as you grow and become more experienced, you learn things were done for your own good.

It’s like little children who fail to understand why their parents make them do certain things. But later on in life, they understand the importance of what the parents did.

In every MLM company there are certain rules and restrictions of things that you can do (compliant) and can’t do (noncompliant).

At first, these policies don’t make sense and appear to be a hindrance to your business growth.

Some may even prevent the “great idea” that you have from happening.

The initial attitude of new distributors to these policies is thte same as the kid who has to do things that his parents make him do.

There is some frustration and even resentment.

You can say there is misunderstanding.

But as you grow your business and become more experienced, you will realize that these policies and procedures are NECESSARY to help you grow a long term business.

It is to serve and protect you and ensure that your business will last and is something you can pass to your children.

The Compliance department helps create your legacy.

Without it and the policies, the scary truth is that your MLM company will go out of business.

There are threats not just from competitors but from the FTC who are always looking for ways to shut down MLM companies because they have these rogue distributors who don’t do things the legal way when they build their businesses.

Compliance Department is Your Best Friend

I’ve come to learn over the years the importance of USANA’s Compliance Department and I view them as long term partners.

Do you want a long term business that will provide you residual income and something you can pass to your kids?

I joined USANA because it was a stable company that I could confidently rely on to not just provide financial rewards to me but to also my kids and grandchildren.

MLM provides us with an opportunity to have what I call a “legacy business.”

There has been only a handful of MLM companies that have survived for over 20 years and EVERY ONE of them have a strong and efficient Compliance Department.

And USANA is one of the best.

They work out to make sure policies are enforced so that we can have a legacy business.

Would you like to have a lawyer that worked hard to make sure your business lasts forever?

I know I do.

And that’s why I am happy and grateful for what USANA’s Compliance team does everyday.

Because the reality is that the business world is cutthroat and the Compliance Department is working hard each day to protect us from threats that we don’t even know about.

The next time you see someone that works for the Compliance department at Convention, go thank them for what they do.

They are our “lawyers” and they are are our most valuable partner. 🙂

Sincerely,

Simon Chan
