Let’s talk about the 3 types of prospects and the best way to approach them

How to Approach these 3 Types of Prospects


Every person can be grouped into 3 categories and you should use a different approach for them


1 ) Person is MORE Successful than you


Examples are your boss, the mayor, the richest person in your neighborhood, etc.

The key to a good approach is you must edify them.

Here’s a script you can use

Our company is expanding and we’re looking for smart business minded people and you’re one of the smartest and most successful people I know.

It may or may not be not be for you. Would you be open to taking a look?

2 ) Person on the SAME Level / Status as You


Examples are your close friends, family, those that know you well, etc.

The key to this approach is to ask them for a favor

Can you please do me a quick favor?

You’re one of my most trusted friends and I need your advice and opinion and it’ll take just a few minutes.

I’m working on something exciting. Could you please take a look and let me know what you think?

3 ) Person Looks Up to You or You’re More Successful


Examples can be a younger nephew, your assistant at work, etc.

The key to these people is you command them to look at a presentation.

Tell them it’ll help them and they need to look at this

I’m working on something exciting. This may or may not be for you but you need to take a look at this because it’ll help you.
