What Happens If Your Prospect Says “No”
You must understand that people are not saying “No” to you
They’re simply saying “Not now”
and they’re not rejecting you.
You can use the Rejection Killer to help you overcome your fear of rejection
When to Sort and When to Convince
Before I share what SWSWSW stands for
I want to be clear
If your prospect immediately tells you “No” when you approach them
then you apply SWSWSW
But if it’s after a presentation and you feel that the prospect was interested
then you must do everything to close them and make the sale
But if they tell you immediately “No”
then you apply SWSWSW
SWSWSW
SWSWSW stands for
Some will
Some won’t
So what?!
You move on!
You’re in the sorting business
and NOT in the convincing business
Prospecting is About Timing
“No” does not mean “No forever”
It simply means “Not now”
Every prospect will eventually do 3 things
1) Buy
2) Join
3) Give you a Referral
but probably “Not now”
Once you understand this,
You’ll realize the key to success is Consistency and Followups
Stay Consistent Everyday
Make sure you stay consistent with THE DMO and income producing activities
so that when the timing is right
the prospect will think of you and maybe even reach out to you
Followup Followup Followup
The fortune is in the followup!
Always followup with your prospect every 6 months
because the timing may be better for them
You Are Sorting and Not Convincing
Remember that you’re sorting and not convincing
