If your mindset and attitude towards Objections is wrong, then you will not be confident and you will lose your prospect.
Because, Prospects always buy Confidence!
I think you will agree that we live in a world that is less and less trustworthing.
But your confidence builds and adds trust.
If you do not approach nor present confidently, your prospect immediately becomes skeptical and loses trust that “your business opportunity will work.”
So your MINDSET and ATTITUDE towards Objections is VERY important.
Without the right mental approach, you get off to a bad start and doesn’t matter what happens to the rest of the presentation.
You Should Welcome Objections!
How you mentally approach an Objection is important to your prospecting success.
Many new distributors are often scared when their prospect brings up an objection.
But you should not be scared nor worried because Objections are good!
Why Objections are Good
Now why are Objections good?
Because it shows you’ve got their attention. You have the prospect’s attention.
They’re interested or they’re curious about your business, because if they’re not interested nor curious, or have no comment, they won’t give you any objections.
If they have NO Objections nor questions that just means they’re not paying attention to you.
For example, the President of the U.S. – he’s never going to give you an objection. He’s not going to give you an objection, because he’s not paying attention to you, right?
So if anyone gives you an objection, that’s good because it shows that they may be interested in the business.
It shows they are PAYING ATTENTION TO YOU!
If they are paying attention, that means you have a chance to sign them up!
But the President of the U.S. is not going to give you an objection. You have zero chance because he is not even paying attention to you.
And paying attention is the first step towards prospecting. Your prospect must be paying attention to you!
If someone’s giving you an objection, that means you have a chance with that prospect.
You Attract What Your Fears Are
Accept that Objections are good.
Don’t worry about the Objections, or that they’re bad or hope they don’t bring any up, because again, if you’re afraid that they’re going to be coming up, guess what?
Your prospects will sense that, and they will come back with Objections, right?
And if you are worried or scared about Objections, that fear will make you lose confidence.
And remember, PROSPECTS ALWAYS BUY CONFIDENCE!
You attract whatever you’re weak against. If anything bothers you, then your prospects can sense that. So make sure that you know their Objections are good.
For example, if you are not confident about the pay plan, your prospects will sense it (from your tone of voice or your lack of confidence) and then will ask you tons of questions about it and become skeptical.
So you must be confident!
