In this post I will share how to find an endless supply of people to talk to without ever having to spend a cent on advertising.
In my over 10 years of experience in the network marketing industry, I’ve seen distributors sponsor and grow fast but only to hit a wall when they run out of people to talk to.

Successful people are always open to opportunity. Who would I talk to in the cold market?
A great source for Successful people is the Yellow Pages phone directory.
Go through your local Yellow Pages and look for real estate agents or business owners and you call them.
Who do you call first?
Call the people who have pictures of themselves.
Why? Because they have egos; they like the way they look and you they can be easily made to feel good by a genuine compliment.
The bigger the ad, generally the bigger the ego.
Script On How to Approach and Invite Cold Market
This is how I talk to them. For example, I call this guy Wilson and he is a real estate agent for REMAX.
I call Wilson and I say,
“Hello, Wilson, you do not know me, but my name is Simon Chan. I am an entrepreneur and we are expanding our business. I am looking for sharp, smart, successful people and I came across your ad in the Yellow Pages. Would you be open to take a two-minute phone call about earning extra income outside of what you are doing right now?”
Wilson is going to say yes or no.
If he says yes, what would I say?
I would use the Effective Presentation Formula and say:
“We are in the health industry. We are working for a publicly traded company, a company named ABC. Our products are in the _____ industry. You can earn anywhere from $100 to $200 a month up to $200 to $2,000 a month up to $20,000 a month. We provide different types of training from classroom, optional Webinar classroom training, to on-the-job training. Is this something you are interested in learning more about?”
It is as simple as that!

This is how you talk to people in the cold market. I target people in the Yellow Pages with big pictures.
