I just got back yesterday from an amazing business trip.
I decided pictures are the best way to describe it since a picture is worth a thousand words.
INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION
I had a great week in Utah from our annual International Convention. Convention is always exciting and is the best time of the year for our business.
To make it even better, some of my top business partners first spent a few days at this great resort just to relax and have fun. I guess this has become a tradition as well and we were really excited to go there. The resort called Zermatt, is located in Midway, Utah and is very peaceful and quiet. We’ve been there 3 years in a row now and it starts to feel like the “home away from home.”

So why do I go to all these events… Because that is what successful people do! These seminars and events are motivating and also I go there to invest in myself and learn.
One of the keys to success is to surround yourself with successful people… Have you ever noticed the difference between negative people that drain you and positive people that uplift and motivate you? Negative people bring you down and even if you have high energy, their negativity would easily zap away your vitality and will change your mood. So we all know that negative people are bad… so stay away from them!
But where do you find people with high energy, happy with life and success minded?!
One of the best places to find such people that will uplift you is at seminars and events. Regardless whether it is your annual business convention or seminar… or at a course… I highly recommend that you attend a few events annually. Not only will you learn important skills for your career and business but you will network with success minded people. I learned early on that if you want to know how much income someone earns, simply take the average income of his 5 closest friends that he spends the most time with and that is more or less his income. So, if you want to change your income or change the results you are getting, simply change the people you spend time with!
And one of the best places to find people who are better than you and who can help you take you to where you want to go is at seminars and events.
As to how you network and what are you supposed to do at these events will be covered in a later post later on. But for now, look at your calendar and ask yourself, what event will I be going to soon?
