5 Years Ago
My friend Dave from NYC came over to visit us this past weekend and my dog, Obi, was thrilled to see him. It has been a few years, but Obi still remembered him like he just saw him yesterday.
When Obi was still a young four-month old puppy, we were at Dave’s house, and Dave was the one who taught Obi how to jump onto a sofa.
That was 5 years ago. Time flies so fast.
It’s been a blur.
I know that in the blink of an eye, another 5 years will pass.
5 years from now, Obi will be 10 years old. He will be an old dog…
so that’s why I must love and cherish him every day.
Thinking about Obi getting older caused me think about what else will happen in the next 5 years.
It made me consider what I must do.
5 Years from Now
5 years from now, if I’m still around…
I must continue to thank and praise God for blessing me with the ability to use my talents every day to help others.
5 years from now, I’m still going to be in a happy marriage with my wife Kelly…
so I must work hard on my marriage every day.
5 years from now, my two sons will be older and will be in school…
so I must spend as much time with them as I can because I’ll never get their childhood back. I must also teach them the right values and habits in order to live a successful life.
5 years from now, there will be more people in this world…
and I will continue to aim to have a positive impact on as many lives as possible.
5 years from now, there will be more MLM distributors…
so I must continue to work hard to provide the best NO BS NO HYPE MLM Training programs and coaching.
5 years from now, my body will be older…
so I must continue to workout and do yoga everyday because I refuse to let old age slow me down.
5 years from now, I will have made more mistakes…
but I will grow and become better, as long as I learn from them and never stop pursuing my goals.
5 years from now, I will be wiser…
because I will continue to invest at least 30 minutes a day on self-development.
5 years from now, I will have a more extensive contact list…
because I invest time each day to grow my network.
5 years from now, I will have made more money
so I must look for more ways to give it away.
It’s What We Do Now
Where we end up in 5 years depends on what we do NOW.
It’s important to ENJOY the precious moments we have now, but also realize that what we do every second of our lives determines where will we will be in 5 years.
For me, writing this blog will have an effect on where I end up.
For you, reading this blog will also have an effect.
We get to decide our future.
Every second… every day… counts.
So where will YOU be 5 years from now?
