Members of my Network Marketing Coaching Programs can ask me for help or advice every week.
Today’s Coaching Question comes from 5 Star Mastermind Coaching member, Howard from Melbourne, Australia.
Hi Simon Chan, I understand that people doesn’t like the feeling of being instructed to do a task. How would you tell something to your downline that does not sound like you’re demanding or instructing them to do a task in general? What are the phrases or words that you would use to encourage them to complete a task without feeling that they are forced to do it?

Here is some great advice from 5 Star Mastermind Coaching member and leader, Binx from Davao City, Philippines. It is great advice and worth posting.
I hope you or Simon won’t mind my thoughts on this. As per experience in my daytime job and in network marketing, here’s one of the coaching skills that I learned: “Learn how to ask questions that will lead them to respond to their own challenges.” I start by sharing my goals for the week and then asking them theirs. Then we align our common goals together. I then ask them what challenges they anticipate in achieving their goals and then what “plan of action” they have to address the challenge. I then offer a suggestion and ask them what they think, that way they take “ownership” of the idea and feel empowered, and not feel being told what to do. Then finally, I ask what support do they need from my end. Coaching – Empowerpment – Personal Accountabiliy – Productivity.
Howard, I also added a few more suggestions and advice in the video below:
