Top MLM Events For This Year
I was only a few months into my business and I didn’t want to go to my first MLM event…
I decided to go only because my mentor forced me.
And then…
12 hours before I was going to go…
The unthinkable happened…
I got dumped.
It was an ugly breakup.
I thought I’d marry her but after 10 months apparently it wasn’t going to work out and she decided to break up with me.
I don’t know what I was thinking but I stayed up all night fighting and trying to keep the relationship going but she had made up my mind that I was too immature and didn’t have much of a future.
She’d always thought I was nuts to turn down a high paying job in the sports agency world so that I could focus on my MLM business.
But there were other issues as well.
Anyway, I begged her to let the bad things ride out but she had it and dumped me.
I hung up the phone after 5 hours crying to her and looked at the clock.
3:37am
How in the world would I be able to sleep for only 1 hour…
and leave my house and pick up two of my downlines…
and then drive 110 miles to San Diego…
and attend the opening of my company’s regional event in time?!
I didn’t think I needed to attend any MLM events.
I had a good mentor and I was already making $100 – $200 a week and saw myself growing weekly.
Why waste $150 for the ticket, gas and my weekend to go to an event?!
It’s crazy looking back at how “little I know.”
I’ve never even been to a big MLM event and I was already judging it based on “what I thought I knew.”
I hated my mentor but I thank him now.
He said I better be there or else he’ll never work with me.
But going to a MLM event was the last thing on my mind at 3:37am after being dumped by my girlfriend.
What if I fall asleep driving there?!
But I didn’t want my mentor to dump me as well.
He was super strict.
He said, “I better be there or I’d never work with you!”
So I said, “Heck… I’ll somehow make it happen. “
I wanted to make my mentor happy and also going there would take my mind of my ex.
Plus I was a leader and leaders had to lead by example.
I wanted to set a good example for my 2 downlines that you do what you say you’ll do.
And looking back, I believe at that moment, some leadership grew in me.
I learned to just make it happen.
I laid in bed and couldn’t fall asleep.
The darn girl was still on my mind!
I ended up sleeping only 90 minutes that night.
I got up at 6am and picked up my 2 downlines and made it to the opening but for most of that day I was like a zombie and ended up sleeping in my car in the Convention center parking lot.
But I was there.
And boy was I glad I made that decision to make it happen.
That event was one of the major turning points for my MLM career.
It shattered all my previously held beliefs about my company and the MLM profession.
Within 7 days after the event, I made my first $1000 a week check and I’ve never looked back since.
MLM Events are the Lifeblood of Your Business
I learned later on that your MLM success depends on events.
When you go to events, you’ll grow faster.
When you get your team to go to events, your downline will grow exponentially.
In other words,
The more team members you get to events, the more money you make!
So lead by example, be the first to register and then get everyone to attend the events.
What I Did and How I Created Leaders
Nowadays, I smile when I think back to my mentor.
I ended up just like him.
If you didn’t go to our company’s convention, I wouldn’t work with you.
Why?
Cause I’ve never met anyone that made any decent money that never attend their company’s events.
So in other words, if you don’t go, you’ll never be successful and you’ll be wasting my time to train you.
You wouldn’t be worse it.
You may have excuses but just make it happen!
Your excuses can’t be worse than having no money, being dumped by your girlfriend on the night before, sleeping only 90 minutes and then having to drive 2 1/2 hours to attend.
I made it happen and it was one of the major leadership milestones for me cause I stepped outside my comfort zone and just made it happen.
One of the reasons I created a successful MLM business that still continues to pay me a 6 figure residual is because I go to as many MLM events as possible.
And that’s why you must attend as many MLM events as possible!
Attend All Your Company’s Major Events
If you can only 1 event, then you must attend your company’s annual Convention.
You should also attend any other regional or large conferences that your company has.
But don’t stop there.
You must attend other events as well.
Events are the lifeblood of your MLM business.
Attending Generic MLM Events
Don’t limit it to just your company events.
I did this in my first few years and it really limited my growth.
Here are the top MLM events I highly recommend for 2016.
These are all conferences and events that I’ve been to, will be speaking at or work closely with leaders that do… so I know these are all incredible events.
I’ll be at these events and so should you!
Asian Networkers Convention & Expo
The ONE and ONLY generic MLM training event in Asia.
Date: Mar. 21 – 22, 2016
Location: Manila, Philippines
A great event for those in Asia. You no longer have to miss out or travel all the way to Europe or North America for a top MLM training event.
Ambitious Women Conference by Ambitious Women
This event is held 2 times in 2 different locations
Date: April 1 – 3, 2016
Location: Dallas, Texas
Date: April 15 – 17, 2016

ANMP is the BEST event where you’ll have plenty of access and easily approach 6 figure and top 7 figure earners.
Ever attend a conference where everyone is fighting to talk to a top leader?
Well you don’t have to worry about it here because the access is incredible. This event has the best ratio of Top Earners: Part time distributors so there’s plenty of leaders to talk to for everyone.
At the last event, over 30% of the attendees were probably earning over 6 figures or more!

It’s the 1000 pound gorilla of all MLM events and super inspiring and motivating.
MLM Mastermind
Date: Nov. 19 – 21, 2016
Location: Orlando, Florida
MLM Mastermind is the second largest generic training event and has been around for over 11 years. It’s smaller and has a different environment than Go Pro but has great content and a Hall of Fame lineup of speakers.
I found networking with other leaders here to be easier than Go Pro because of the smaller size and also because it’s in Orlando hotel and not in Vegas casino hotel.
Network Marketing Professional Bootcamp

Location: Rimini, Italy
For those in Europe, you now have Network Marketing Professional Bootcamp presented by Eric Worre.
You’ll no longer have to spend a day traveling to get to Go Pro in the USA. You now get the same excitement, speakers and training in your own backyard.
NO BS NO HYPE MLM TRAINING TOUR by Simon Chan

If you want to attend an event that is smaller and more intimate, I’d recommend you check out my NO BS NO HYPE MLM TRAINING Tour.
You won’t get any motivational “feel good” rah rah training and the direct “in your face NO BS” training may make you uncomfortable.
These are small workshops with only about 15 – 40 people and more interactive.
No Excuses Summit VII

No Excuses Summit VII is an annual event trains MLM distributors on how to use the internet to grow a successful home business.
