MLM Training: Creating Urgency for Prospects who are Researching or Thinking it Over

Today’s question is from a Mastermind member from China is about how to get a prospect who keeps on procrastinating to sign up.

Prospecting is about creating urgency and unless you do so you will lose your prospect because there will NEVER be a perfect time for the prospect to sign up.

Creating Urgency for Prospects

I have a prospect who keeps telling me he is building relationships for supplement sales and networking a lot and sounds like he is planning a path before he decides to come on board (he told me he wants to try the products first and I have sold him an essentials); on top of that he is also telling me his plans for the end of the year (where a promotion is involved in his company) – if he gets the promotion joining my MLM will be delayed as he is too busy; if he doesn’t get the promotion he will quit the job (he is giving 3 months for the Company to promote him) and then consider coming on board. I want to know, is it worth asking him directly why he won’t come on board now? That way he can start building some foundations whilst all this is happening and we can get my MLM business happening in China? How can I approach this matter?
